Right in the heart of England, in the ancient Forest of Arden, Stoneleigh is a picturesque Warwickshire village close to Kenilworth, Leamington and Warwick and less than 4 miles from the centre of Coventry. With its pretty timber-framed and thatched cottages, lovely sandstone almshouses and historic church, Stoneleigh is in many ways a typical English village, yet it is close to the prestigious University of Warwick, the motorway network and Birmingham International Airport as well as the thriving business communities at Stoneleigh Park.

The Warwickshire County Council contracts for services 539 (Coventry, Bubbenhall, Stoneleigh, Kenilworth) and 580 (Coventry, Ryton, Bubbenhall, Princethorpe, Marton Dunchurch, Rugby etc), currently operated by Johnsons Coaches, are due to expire on Saturday 3rd September 2017. As such, a major and thorough review of these routes has been carried out, that includes assessing loading analysis on all journeys. It transpired that a number of said journeys conveyed extremely low numbers of passengers, so the new timetables have been prepared to reflect this.
