Stoneleigh Women’s Institute

Stoneleigh WI has existed continuously in the village since 1918. We currently have around 60 members from a wide local area. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month (except for bank holidays and then we meet on the 2nd Monday), in Stoneleigh Village Hall at 7.30pm. The evening usually starts with a short business meeting. The main part of the meeting is a talk or demonstration.

We also arrange trips, theatre visits, a book club every two months, a weekly craft group, a walking group and other activities for members. In addition we cater for a monthly lunch club for the village on the first Tuesday of each month (except August) and a monthly coffee morning for the village on the third Tuesday of each month.

Stoneleigh WI is part of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes and also of the Warwickshire Federation of Women’s Institutes. Many of our members take part in county events.See the Warwickshire website on www.theWI.org.uk/warwickshire.

If you are interested in joining, please come along to one of our monthly meetings.
