For information, we have posted a letter today in response to the EHS Consultation.
We are at Kingswood Farmhouse, Dalehouse Lane, and the proposed route will cut right across our access road and one corner of one of our fields. The line will run about 100m in front of our (V. old!) house. What it will do for our horses remains to be seen!
Richard & Jan Kenyon of Four Winds Dalehouse Lane have also responded. The line may be even closer to them!

Having been ‘marooned’ in NZ because of the Iclandic volcano dust, we have returned to the disaster of High Speed Rail HS2. We have had tremendous support from the Stoneleigh Action Group- so this is a much appreciated “big” thank .
Yes, Stoneleigh, Fred & Wendy Pauling and ourselves all have HS2 going very near to us – like them, the line is within 100 yds of our front door! It is devastating – so as Margaret Wallis has said to me – “One thing is clear, we must make ourselves ‘loudly heard’ – we all need to be making as much ‘noise’ now rather than waiting for the official consultation period., and it’s even more important that we all shout out about the stupid waste of money that is HS2″.
We shall make as much noise as possible!!
